The photograph on the left was the condition of the property on commencement and the one on the right was taken after 6 weeks on site.
The work involved taking down the existing bay which was structurally unsound and rebuilding the bay from foundation up. The remaining flank wall had it’s render removed and localised brickwork repairs carried out along with the replacement of rotten steel lintels over the windows.
The rear of the property was held up largely by fresh air and willpower! There were more holes than mortar. The wall was taken down to prevent collapse and rebuilt.
Following on from that we applied K-Rend Silicone Based Render to the front, side and rear of existing house.
To the rear of the property we erected a 9x6m extension to house a large kitchen/diner/family room leading through a set of Bi-fold doors to the rear garden.
