From our first approach the whole team both in the office and on site have been enthusiastic, courteous, creative and approachable. From speaking with Chris (and some of his previous clients) we knew their work would be efficient and effective, but we are still astounded at how much has already been achieved in the first seven days of our build. We were delighted with some innovative ideas Chris has presented us with to maximise our use of space. We appreciate Chris and the team having such a can do attitude and strong work ethic and can’t wait to see the project continue to come together!Week 4 update - as we move into Easter, we still remain so impressed with the speed and efficiency of our build. I have been taking a progress photo every day and get so many comments from friends on how incredible the changes are. Chris is extremely adept at coordinating the different parts of the EcoBright business to have a cohesive experience. Chris and team are now delivering beyond the scope of our original project, of course at our cost for incremental extras, but their great ideas and wide skill set mean we have been pleased to do more than we had originally expected. The team are great problem solvers, and have a wonderful eye for detail. They are extremely tolerant of my lack of technical understanding and are great at explaining options and making sure we know what decisions need to be made - but be prepared for quick turnarounds to keep the project pushing forward!Week 8 update - we have been helped immensely over the last few weeks by a few key members of the team covering build plastering plumbing and electrics. Having these areas of the business linked together is hugely helpful. The progress has really moved inside the property now so it can be harder to see as much tangible progress day by day, even though a lot is still going on. We haven’t been able to use the Ecobright Tiler and this is one trade we really struggled to find but that has recently been resolved and the Ecobright team have made sure to be on site and support the tiler (as well as carpet fitters and plenty of deliveries) which has been great. We are creeping towards second fix of plumbing and electrics and our kitchen arriving - which will all be fantastic to see soon! We can’t wait!Week 16 update - we are really on the home straight of our project now. Whilst we have had a number of snags and inevitable delays we are grateful that Chris has remained available, as have a number of the team, to speak with us. We have really learnt to scope better in advance, take your time and ensure you think through each decision, and have a solid vision. This makes the process so much more agreeable! read less

Chris and his team have been a whirlwind of professional enthusiasm. He has delivered above and beyond expectations clearly thinking about ways to improve the design, make more efficient choices whilst he is not on site. He has shown great sensitivity to our neighbours and made quite a first impression. He has set a high bar for Week 2, I look forward to seeing what Week 2 will bring!Week 2 complete and work continued at a ferocious pace! Chris and his team were a hive of activity but what impressed me most was his attention to detail and proactive nature to address neighbourly disruption. It was never too much to go the extra mile. An example was how his team could see a neighbour's fence panel had fallen down and they took it upon themselves to replace it for 2 new ones and at no cost. This kind gesture is typical of Chris's approach. He has passed this on to his team. He listens carefully to our requests and thinks about how more efficient and attractive solutions can be incorporated into the plan as it evolves. Excellent work continues. More updates to follow.Week 3 - Ella (aged 5) It was amazing to watch how the team worked together to make an amazing garden. They have shown respect for the house as they work around us.Phil (aged 47) Chris and his team have maintained their highly efficient efforts on the 3 projects at our build. He continues to carefully give clever advice on the project engaging me at every stage where decisions or opportunities arise. The speed at which the blockwork, steels and main areas of construction have been achieved is impressive and his mind does not stop thinking about solving the next problem. Not sure how Chris sleeps at night!Week 4- wife gets to do the review this week as we continue to say every day how impressed we are with Chris and the whole team and how lucky we are to have them on site. It is so refreshing to be surrounded by a team who arrive knowing what they need to achieve and graft from the moment they arrive until they go home. I am lucky not to be working at home (!!) but at the end of every day we are shocked by the progress, and the ongoing improvements in the design as Chris reviews daily, is always finding better ways of doing things and optimising and checks with us at every stage. The whole team are so proud of what they are achieving and the rate they are achieving if for us and seem so chuffed for us that in their back breaking work they are creating something so much better then we expected and it feels that that all genuinely want it to be the best it can be. Chris continues to reassure us that they won't be leaving the site until we are entirely happy, we have confidence in this and means we can really enjoy the process and look forward to the end without feeling anxious- especially as we had the chance to meet a good number of really happy customers of Chris's before we chose him as builder. read less

Used EcoBright for the second time this year, once again Chris and Ben did a great job this time removing an internal wall. Arrived on time, worked fast and efficiently and cleaned up afterwards. Very pleased with the end result!

This was not your average domestic build, and had to comply with specific acoustic design. Matt and Steve identified with this, as did Ted and in fact all the team resulting in an attention to detail I was impressed with. Just one mistake could have resulted in sound leakage and therefore a neighbour problem.Matt did an extra-ordinarily excellent job of project-managing on-site, was receptive to all my detailed requests and his building work was exemplary. Huge thanks to him and all the staff who worked with him.Special thanks to Steve also who was helpful, knowledgeable throughout. And the whole job, built after lockdown, was pulled off extremely close to the original pre-Covid quotation cost which was much appreciated.Ted made some bespoke soundproof fittings which wasnt easy, and how the drywall guys got 3 layers of extra-heavy acoustic plasterboard up for the inner wall so neatly I don't know. Calvin installed some very neat electrics. Brickwork and in fact all stages very good.The pic is at the end of building works before decoration, gives a rough idea at this stage.
